How HushWise handles data

This page is a plain-language overview of how HushWise handles information during the current product stage. It is written to match the actual app stack and should be reviewed again before broader commercial rollout.

What HushWise collects

HushWise collects the information required to run shared-home coordination: account details, household setup information, member roles, duty schedules, availability, notifications, and the content users create inside the product such as Houseboard notes or duty comments.

We also receive basic technical information tied to running and improving the service, including authentication events, operational logs, and site analytics.

Why HushWise uses that information

The service uses data to create and maintain households, assign duties fairly, send reminders, support absences and swaps, display progress, and keep members informed about what is happening in the home.

Data is also used for product security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and basic product analytics so the service can stay reliable.

Core service providers

HushWise currently relies on Supabase for authentication and application data, Vercel for hosting plus site analytics and speed insights, and Resend for transactional email delivery.

Those providers only receive the information needed to perform their role in delivering the service.

User controls

Users can update their profile information inside the product, and household admins can manage house configuration, member access, and core scheduling structure.
